Diabolical No. 10 proves to be real winner at Riviera Country Club

For the second year in a row, the Northern Trust Open ends in a playoff on the deceptively inviting 10th hole. John Merrick pars the hole and walks away a champion. Charlie Beljan walks away as the hole's latest victim. The man who won the Northern Trust Open in a playoff Sunday called it "one of the great par fours we play." The man who lost in the playoff called it "funky" and added, "They might as well put a windmill out there."
